Planning a little time away this festive season? You’ll need to consider your shopping list early. Make sure you have the clothing you will need for the temperatures you’re expecting to enjoy at your destination. It’s going to winter for many regions, but if you’re travelling to the Southern Hemisphere - it’s moving into the hottest time of the year. Here are some ideas on what you should pack for the various weather possibilities.

Skiing Vacation

The challenge with ski attire is that you need as much range of motion as possible, yet the insulations of a reliable jacket to keep you warm. Island bliss: Beach Getaway

Birds migrate when winter arrives, for humans to follow suit is quite natural. Stretching out on a warm beach and enjoying crystal blue water while the rest of the world is under the snow? It’s the ultimate treat. However, if you’re not used to the hot weather that beach locations near the equator enjoy at this time of year, you might find it scorching. It’s tempting to plan your suitcase around staying in your costume all holiday, but it’s not all that practical.

Alongside the packing list mentioned below, pack a few different swimwear outfits. You might not have the time to wash them frequently enough to facilitate everyday use. When you have three or four, you can rotate them.

Ourtailored original swim shorts are super quick-drying; truly gorgeous, and eco-friendly. When you buy them, you’re helping us to preserve the ocean you’re enjoying on your vacation. Here’s your island vacation packing list;

  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Bathing suit (multiple)
  • Sandals
  • Tank tops
  • Shorts
  • Hat
  • Shirts
  • Light jerseys
  • Smart evening wear
  • Smart/Casual evening wear - including shoes

Safari in Africa

The heat of Africa can be stifling in December, but if you pack with care, you can avoid the dreaded ache of sunburn and still get to marvel at Africa’s big 5.

With so many safari adventures to enjoy, you have to include comfortable wear that will enable you to explore and enjoy with a  full range of motion the beauty of the continent's scenery. Forget the restrictive clothing that looks good, a safari vacation is all about leaving that behind and delighting in your child-like wonder of nature’s beauty.

We highly recommend not only packing short-sleeved shirts and shorts but opting for breathable fabrics, too. Our organic cotton tees and bamboo textiles promote improved breathability and boast unique anti-bacterial qualities, keeping you feeling and smelling fresh even in Africa’s most intense heat.

What else do you need? Here’s a list;
